The Protectorate was an order dedicated to enforcing a rigid, unforgiving system of laws, in an attempt to slow the seemingly inevitable rise of the Magelords. Though the order itself was disbanded long ago, Wardens such as Karma still uphold its tenets… and guard its many secrets.

Esteemed leaders and devoted acolytes in the Order of the Lotus are the finest of the First Lands. Avatars of immortality and virtue, members of the Order live many lifetimes, striving to keep peace eternal.

Order of the Lotus

Tomes of Ionian myth speak of the venerable Order of the Lotus. Formed when mortals settled in the First Lands, the Order spent generations cultivating the secrets of immortality. Indeed, they were the only group to achieve the pure reincarnation of their spirits. As graceful and transient as ripples in the sea, Order of the Lotus disciples protect the First Lands without fear of facing this life or the next.
